For ten years we have been living under siege in Gaza and things get worse for us every day. It is almost impossible for people to get in or out through Israel or through Egypt. Same with the things we need just to get from one day to the next.

I’m writing now to ask you, to please make a special contribution to MECA now for medicine that we need urgently.

Hospitals and clinics need things like antibiotics for common infections that can become life-threatening if left untreated; asthma medicines, chemotherapy drugs; and basic supplements like calcium and folic acid.

I visited community clinics and pharmacies all over the Gaza Strip to find out what patients needed.  I put together a list and sent it to MECA in the US. Now, MECA is working to get the medicines we need at the lowest cost and ship them to Gaza. The shipment will cost a minimum of $45,000 and we need it urgently.

For nearly thirty years MECA has gotten the help that’s needed most to Palestine, Iraq, and Lebanon. With your help, MECA can do it again now. Please send the most generous gift you can now. Many thanks.
