Take Action to Save Silwan

Palestinian families in Silwan, East Jerusalem, have been told they’ll lose their homes by the end of September. The Israeli authorities plan to demolish large parts of Silwan to build a tourist attraction.

The bulldozers could arrive at any time - it’s vital we support the community in Silwan as they fight to remain in their homes.

Take action now, and help stop the bulldozers in Silwan.

The Thirsting for Justice Campaign calls on supporters worldwide to sign-up to its summer challenge by living on 24 liters (6.3 gallons) of water for 24 hours, a reality faced by many Palestinians in the West Bank today, particularly during the summer, when Israeli national water company Mekorot reduces water supplies.

URGENT: Act now for Mahmoud Sarsak on hunger strike; Palestinian soccer star at risk of death

As European soccer stars compete in the European Championship, the eyes of the world must turn to a soccer star at urgent risk of death: Palestinian national team member Mahmoud Sarsak, 25, has been imprisoned without charge or trial for three years. Sarsak, from Gaza, traveled to the West Bank to join the Palestinian national soccer team for training. Upon his arrival he was abducted by the Israeli occupation military and since that time has been held in Israeli jails, subject to this special version of administrative detention designed especially for Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip.

Take action today for Hana al-Shalabi – administrative detainee and hunger striker!

Hana al-Shalabi, an imprisoned Palestinian held under administrative detention without charge or trial, has been engaged in an open-ended hunger strike since her re-arrest on February 16, 2012. Now that Khader Adnan’s heroism has opened the eyes of the world to the struggles of Palestinian prisoners, it is imperative to keep the pressure on for Hana al-Shalabi.

Urge Obama to Withdraw Weapons Offer to Israel

Action alert from The American Association for Palestinian Equal Rights. Please make your voices heard and tell the Obama Administration, "Enough!".  Providing Israel with tools of mass violence and failing to insist that it permanently and unconditionally end settlements will advance war and suffering, not peace and reconciliation, across the Middle East.
