Hello friends and supporters of peace and justice in Palestine,
I’m writing you now from my home in Gaza where I live with 2 million Palestinians in a densely populated, open air prison. In the middle of the night, the Israeli Occupation army has assassinated 3 resistance men. Ten other Palestinians were also murdered in the attacks including 4 women, 4 children and one man. One family was wiped out, erased from the earth forever as they slept in their beds.
There are drones and fighter jets still buzzing above our heads. People are waiting in long lines to stock up on bread and food just in case. We are afraid of what might happen next.
Your solidarity means a lot for Palestinian people, especially at this very critical time.
Please make a donation to MECA now to help us prepare to meet the needs of children in Gaza.
The children have been subjected to one trauma after another and they are terrified. Their friends and neighbors were brutally killed. The frightening sounds of the 40 Israeli warplanes and helicopter that attacked apartment buildings and homes woke them in the middle of the night and made them recall the worst of their nightmares during the many Israeli attacks. Our kids have no shelters to run to and no place is safe.
I am appealing to you all to put pressure on your governments to stop the attacks, to protect our children which is enshrined in international law and a basic tenet of humanity.
Palestinian children in Gaza have been deprived of so much due to the occupation and siege, but MECA team and our partners will do our best to meet their urgent needs today, tomorrow, and always.

From Gaza with love,
Dr. Mona El-Farra
MECA Director of Gaza Projects
P.S. As I’m writing, Israeli attacks on Gaza continue and the number of people killed is rising.
Here are three ways to take action:
1. Join an action in a city near you to commemorate the Nakba and show your support for Palestinian rights
2. Demand Congress Stop Arming Israel
3. Make an emergency donation to MECA
