Today I visited two distribution points in Khan Younis.

MECA received 10,000 tarps from UNICEF which we are distributing across 10 of the camps where we have been providing drinking water for the past eight months.

The distribution process is running very smoothly and respects people’s dignity.

Beneficiaries are very happy to receive the tarpaulins at this time, especially with the expected rainfall this weekend.

The most beautiful part of my day was seeing MECA’s logo accompanying me all along the way.

My field visit started from Al-Nuseirat, passing through Al-Zawaida, where I saw water trucks carrying MECA and our partners logos.

As I approached Khan Younis, I began to notice solid waste workers’ carts—one after another—also displaying the same logos.

Along the road, more water trucks with our organization’s logo appeared, reminding me how far our work has reached.

During my visit to the camps, I also came across one of the toilets installed about four months.

It was truly heartwarming to witness the strong presence of MECA’s work with our local partners across so many sectors, during a completely unplanned visit.

Thank you to all the staff, partners and volunteers who make MECA visible and active in meeting people’s needs across Gaza.

Thank you to all the people around the world who continue to support MECA’s work.

We are not the only organization working in these camps — but the impact of our work is clearly seen and deeply felt.
