“The Nakba never ended.”

Rashida Tlaib spoke these words again and again and in just the short time since she was here, we’ve witnessed this terrible truth. With Israeli bombs falling on the people of Gaza and Israeli violence and injustices continuing unabated in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

We want to thank each and every one of you who attended Middle East Children’s Alliance event Voices of Palestinian Resistance: Commemorating 75 Years of the Nakba in San Francisco on April 30th. We are thrilled to have brought together such a wonderful audience to hear Angela Davis, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, and Palestinian refugees.

Since the event, many people have spoken to me about the power of the video Vows to the Homeland of the young Palestinian refugee visiting an ethnically cleansed village and speaking to an elderly Nakba survivor in Gaza. We hope you will share this with friends, family, and on social media.
