MECA staff in Gaza go into schools that have Maia units to teach children about Palestine’s water crisis, their water rights, how to conserve water, and how to take responsibility for the units in their schools.

In addition to providing clean, safe drinking water to the children, we believe it’s crucial for the children in Gaza to know the origins of the water crisis and take ownership of the units at their schools.
