Urgent Message from MECA Director: I’m going to Gaza. Please help me bring aid

Dear Friend,

We don’t know if the Israeli attacks on Gaza will end tomorrow or go on for weeks.

What we do know is that the children of Gaza are suffering terribly and they need the help that you and I, together, can provide.

I’m planning to go to Gaza in two weeks to bring in whatever is needed most—food, medicine, blankets, warm clothing.

Please send a contribution now, so that MECA can get as much aid as possible for the children and families living through this nightmare.

Four years ago, when Israel began its horrifying three-week assault on Gaza, I went to Egypt to make sure MECA’s four-ton shipment of medicine got in. While I waited every day to enter Gaza, I was able to purchase cases of baby cereal, powdered milk, wheelchairs, even an ambulance and a truckload of paper and markers.

I was able to get this life-saving aid into Gaza thanks to the caring and generosity of people like you.

I will do whatever it takes to bring the children what they need. I need your help to do it again now.

Please, make the most generous contribution you can afford—$50, $100, $500, or even more—today.

Many thanks,
Barbara Lubin, Founder and Executive Director

P.S. Please, don’t wait. Make your contribution now. And then do one more thing: Send this to everyone you know who has a heart. Tell them that if they send the money I will get life-saving help to the children, no matter what. Thank you.
