Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of MECA supporters, and the assistance of our friends at Medical Teams International and INTERSOS Humanitarian Aid Organizazion in Italy, we have sent a shipment of  $758,700 in medicine and medical supplies to Dr. Salma Haddad at the Children's Welfare Teaching Hospital in Baghdad. The shipment includes medicines to treat bacterial infections, cancer, malnutrition, and kidney disease, as well as vaccines, sterile equipment, and anesthetics.
